FBFF: My Grown Up Christmas List

So I haven't done a FBFF in a million years but this week I managed my time well and I am able to do one. I think this topic is an important one especially since Christmas is just around the corner.

No holiday party is complete without: Dancing to holiday tunes

My favorite Christmas song/album: O Holy Night

My favorite seasonal recipe: Coquito Puerto Rican Rum drink

The perfect New Year's Eve outfit includes: Sequins
Anna Sui tulle sequin dress (photo via web)

At the parties, I'll be drinking: Coquito

Eggnog, good or bad? Gross

Did you ever take pictures on Santa's lap at the mall? When I was a kid, and I am going to do it for the first time as an adult this year

Gingerbread Latte or Peppermint Mocha: Gingerbread Latte

Worst gift I ever got: a really ugly sweater

Best gift I ever received: Yankee accessories for my car

My family has this weird tradition: Nothing really but we did take some family photos in front of the Christmas tree.In fact the Christmas after I was born My family all wore plaid in the family photo.

My family did not do anything stupid like this. (photo via Awkward Family Photos)

My best bargain find for a gift this year: A cutlery set for my friend

If I could only buy all my gifts from one place, I'd shop at: TJ Maxx/ Marshalls…they have everything

Rudolph the Red-nose Reindeer or Frosty the Snowman: Rudolph leads the way of course

My favorite holiday memory: making a last minute meal for my friends and I for Christmas dinner

My favorite Christmas movie: Miracle on 34th Street the black and white version

The best part about holiday decorations is: Seeing the white lights on houses and the candles in the windows

Rip off the wrapping paper or neatly pull off the tape: Since I was once a pro gift wrapper I cherish the wrapping.

Miracle on 34th Street or It's a Wonderful Life: Already said this Miracle on 34th Street

It doesn't feel like the holiday season until: The week before and plans are made to spend Christmas day

All I want for Christmas is: Is to spend time with my Mom.

  1. I don't like eggnog either. I'm also happy to get to spend Christmas with my mom and the rest of the family. It going to be super special for me this year.

  4. Thank god for everyone else taking awkward family photos, and not us! My parents did take a photo of me in my pjs every year standing on the stairs... The last time they took it, I gave them the finger... so they stopped that year. = P

  5. Nice one with the finger Jen! As for wearing sequins I think matching the decor (or the ball in this case) works as long as it works for the party you are going to. Egg nog tastes like snot by the way and if you ever get a chance to try Coquito do it!
