Today I headed out with Tessa for some thrifting around Queens. After a late start we managed to sift through 5 stores piles worth of wears and still have enough time to grab a bit to eat at a Peruvian restaurant in Sunnyside and get home before sun down. My main focus was looking for things to wear for the up coming winter and fall and I managed to pick up a few pieces including the bag I'm using in the pictures above.
Ive been seeing baseball themed wardrobe pieces here and there, from the plain baseball caps to the tees like I'm wearing in the above photo. I picked up this tee a few months ago when I was in a sporting goods store with the intention of wearing it around as a knock around tee but when I saw a few people pairing them with a fancy skirt or pants I decided to try my luck at it. I really wanted to wear it with a colorful pencil skirt during fashion week but having sleeves and a longer skirt was just to hot for the warm humid week we had here in NYC. So today I threw it together with a pair of pants that picked up last month and some heels and called it a day.
