Taking hints from their home neighborhood of Williamsburg and adding a bit of high society gave designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais the ideas for their Spring ready-to-wear collection. The collection almost takes on a mid-1700's French air with a focus on Toile prints, extra long hems and metallic brocades. The complement of messy pompadours and sporty sneakers still ground it down to give that Brooklyn flavor. Full suits, dresses, corsets, shorts and overalls in muted pastels give the collection a large diverse interchangeable feel.
I would like to thank Kristine from Beauty in New York City for giving me the opportunity to take her place at the show.
